Beginner's Guide for Program Coordinators of Literacy Organizations

Lead: Mid North Network

Year: 2009

Funders: Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, SDND fund

Beginner’s Guide for Program Coordinators is intended to ease the transition process for the newly hired program coordinator of the smaller literacy organization who has to fulfill many functions. This manual was developed to help a new program coordinator adjust to adult literacy and basic skills service delivery and program management. It is by no means an exhaustive guide of the extensive resources available, but rather a starting point.

The original project was done in 2009, but was last updated in 2012.  The next English update will be completed by March 31 2016 and the resource will also be available in French later on in 2016.
